1979 28' Itasca motorhome in Sintaluta, Saskatchewan for sale

This unit runs and drives great on a Chevy Chassis with a 454 engine and sleeps 6 comfortably. 3 way fridge was removed and an apartment sized fridge was put in its place. New hardwood laminate flooring was installed after removing the old carpet from the back bedroom up to the cockpit. Roof had leaks so I completely removed the ceiling, added 1x1 structural steel evey 2 feet, and insulated with styrofoam. Ceiling is 80% new whiteboard, and the bottom half of the walls was also covered in it too. Put in 2 new ceiling vents, 1 in the bathroom and 1 in the rear bedroom. Put a new pillowtop mattress in the rear bedroom and it's been slept on 6 times, although it did get some water on it from a small leak in the back before I sealed the roof. The front pull down bed has no mattress on it, but a 4 inch foam or a small air mattress has been used on it while camping.
Has a 5000 watt generator that runs great and powers the whole motorhome. Sealed the roof with a good roofing tar, removed the 2 large side windows and resealed them.
Water heater and stove work great, never tried to use the furnace but the previous owner (a good friend) told me it worked, I ran out of propane before I could test it myself. Water system works great, including a bathroom and shower. The drivers side windshield wiper is missing, and just needs a spline for the shaft to add one back.
There are only cosmetic fixes to be finished on it now, adding moulding etc if one chooses to do so, I didn't feel the need. I love this motorhome and will hate to see it go. Please Email me with any questions.
